鉆入皮膚的幼蟲在皮下移行進(jìn)入皿管或淋巴管，進(jìn)而被帶入右心，經(jīng)過肺動脈進(jìn)入肺血管，大部分幼蟲可以繼續(xù)穿過微血管到達(dá)肺泡。沿支氣管、氣管，再隨宿主的吞咽動作經(jīng)食管、胃到達(dá)小腸，一部分幼蟲也可隨痰被吐出。幼蟲到達(dá)小腸后，迅速成長，感染3～4天后開始第三次蛻皮，成為第四期幼蟲，1 0天后進(jìn)行第四次蛻皮，逐漸發(fā)育為成蟲。自幼蟲鉆入至成蟲交配產(chǎn)卵，一般需要5~7周時間。[2] 兩種鉤蟲的致病作用相似。十二指腸鉤蚴引起皮炎者較多，成蟲導(dǎo)致的貧血亦較嚴(yán)重，同時還是引起嬰兒鉤蟲病的主要蟲種，因此，十二指腸鉤蟲較美洲鉤蟲對人體的危害更大。人體感染鉤蟲后是否出現(xiàn)臨床癥狀，除與鉤蚴侵入皮膚的數(shù)量及成蟲在小腸寄生的數(shù)量有關(guān)外，也與人體的健康狀況、營養(yǎng)條件及免疫力有密切關(guān)系。有的雖在糞便中檢獲蟲卵，但無任何臨床癥象者，稱為鉤蟲感染（hookworm infection）。

Duodenal hookworm caused more dermatitis, adult-induced anemia is also more serious, but also the main insect species caused by hookworm in infants, therefore, duodenum hookworm than American hookworm on the human body more harmful. Whether the human body is infected with hookworms after clinical symptoms, in addition to the number of invasive skin hookworm and adult parasites in the small intestine, but also with the human health status, nutritional conditions and immunity are closely related. Some people detect eggs in the feces, but no clinical signs are called hookworm infections.
